Building active approach in product with AI

This case study showcase the incremental process to design the active approach with the help of artificial intelligence. The active approach will compliment the reactive approach (exists in product) and enhance the productivity of end users.
User Research was done through interviews to understand end users pain points and gather feedback regarding the existing product which they use to consume knowledge for business consultation and studies.
Personas were created as an outcome of the user research interviews. These personas have one common aspiration that is the have an active approach in product which is currently reactive. It will enable them to find out relevant information in faster fashion.
Storyboards were created to define and analyse the active approach we wanted to created through personalised recommendations.
Card sorting activity was done with end users. To conduct this activity various cards were created with different personal recommendations.
Information architecture explorations were done to realise the new design of product which covers simplification of search, curation of knowledge contribution features and introduction of active approach through personalised recommendations.
High fidelity prototypes were created to redesign the product for better search, contribution and personalised recommendations. The same were used for usability testing with end users.
 
Artificial intelligence was used to implement this solution to track the activity of end users and accordingly suggest relevant information to make end users more productive on business consulting assignments and studies.
